The koto is a Japanese plucked string instrument, a long zither with movable fillies. The Koto 20 can be used as a solo instrument, but in combination with other Virtuoso Japanese Series libraries, such as the Koto 13, Koto 17 and Shakuhachi, as well as with orchestral instruments, it forms a vibrant and multifaceted ensemble. As a historical note: the 20-string koto was created by Keiko Nosaka in 1969. Initially, this instrument had 20 strings, but in later versions one more string was added.
