The oud sound is very ancient, voluminous, round and emotional.

We sampled this wonderful instrument about 15 years ago for Giga Sampler and it was the largest virtual oud available at the time (and maybe still is), with a volume of over 1 GB! Stereo samples 96 kHz 24 bit and up to 7 velocity layers.
Recorded with two Vintage U87 microphones with a Telefunken V376 preamp.
You get 6 different presets of this beautiful instrument (dry, with reverb, lo-fi, hard and soft attack, etc.).
