With its iconic body shape and extensive onboard controls, our sampled electric guitar model for Evolution Indie Rock is a favorite among many alternative and indie rock guitarists. This preference is undoubtedly due to the extra punch that the instrument’s short scale length provides, not to mention the unique design of the dual single-coil pickups that give the guitar its signature edgy tone. It sounds great with distortion, but doesn’t lose any energy when played clean.
The guitar’s versatility is well represented in Evolution Indie Rock. Its neck and bridge pickups are available as separate signals that can be combined to provide a wide range of tones.
We developed the library in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, one of Utah’s most respected recording studios. Guy Randle, owner and recording engineer at Rosewood Recording Company, used analog equipment to skillfully shape and highlight the guitar’s rich tone. Evolution Indie Rock contains both a signal recorded directly from the guitar’s output jack and an amplified signal that can be mixed to suit your tastes.
The guitar samples were performed by Robbie Connolly, an experienced guitarist and keyboardist who performs with The Killers on some of the world’s biggest stages. He also tours as co-frontman and lead guitarist for Fictionist, opening for bands such as Imagine Dragons and Vampire Weekend.
The instrument is equipped with our Evolution engine, which gives you a wealth of possibilities: a vast collection of effects, built-in strumming patterns, and a variety of settings to tailor the instrument to your performance needs. Whether you’re looking for meaty power chords to energize your rhythm section or dreamy ambient textures to spark your creativity, Evolution Indie Rock has it all.
