Memphis rap of the 90s. This kit is designed to give you everything you need to quickly and easily create authentic melodic Memphis Rap Beats. We used 2 devices from the early 90’s that were staples of the Underground Memphis Rap genre – the DR660 and its predecessor the DR5.
With these machines, we’ve created over 100 original melody loops, over 100 analog drum sounds, and 30 drum loops. All of these sounds are processed by a true lo-fi cassette deck to give you true analog sound. We’ve also included a number of extras: melody elements, taped vocal samples, bonus samples, FL Studio project files (FLP) and a 20 minute video tutorial showing how to create beats with this pack.
