The latest addition to our bass lineup, the Shreddage 3 Fretless perfectly reproduces the famous “mwa” sound: an unmistakable soft tone in which every note blossoms and sings. The warm sound of the Ibanez SRF705 pairs well with traditional bass lines, as well as virtuoso solos and melodic parts. For this special project, we turned to the multi-talented George “Norg” Novik, who collaborated with us to find the perfect sound to shine across genres.
As is the case with all of our Shreddage instruments, we have carefully sampled many articulations to create a very comfortable and realistic instrument, but this time we are introducing some interesting new additions to the library. For the first time, two amplified signals are included in addition to the digital input, so users can experience 100% authentic pre-modeled amp tone without any effects. Customize your sound by controlling the levels of each of the microphones as well as the DI signal in the mix window. Quickly find the tone that suits your production by choosing from a variety of presets covering everything from ambient and reverb to dirty and overdrive.
Shreddage 3 Fretless also marks the debut of our newly updated Shreddage 3.5 engine, which introduces features that simplify your workflow and give you the flexibility you need. The GUI has been greatly improved for clarity and intuitiveness. Articulations are much easier to set up and remap with the new TACT 3.0 articulation system, and NKS now supports more options. The Performance Style drop-down menu contains presets that automatically tune the instrument to best match the selected Style. Finally, an all-new keyboard mode lets you play the instrument with all the responsiveness and consistency of a premium workstation keyboard without sacrificing amazing sound.
