Michele Fattori is a bassoon teacher at the Conservatory. B. Marcello, in Venice. He performed with many outstanding directors, such as Sir S. Rattle, D. Barenboim, I. Fischer, P. Boulez, V. Gergiev, D. Harding, Sir C. Davis, B. Haitink, M. Jansons, and also recorded on such famous labels as Deutsche Grammophon, EMI, Harmonia.
The solo bassoon has over three full octaves, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulation, 3 true legato articulations (legato with tongue, legato espressivo without vibrato and legato vibrato), 4 round-robins for staccato. We give you the opportunity to create your own unique sound by mixing 3 microphone positions (near, mid and far).
The script has an articulation editor that allows you to precisely control each of the included articulations and create your own. Sampling was done using high quality equipment: Schoeps microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.
