Aleatoric Keys takes sounds from synthesizers and real recordings and seamlessly fuses them together to form a new era of inspiring sounds. Sound categories include bass, keys and strings, synths, pads, and FX, but individual sounds cover most categories, from natural brass to synthesized brass.
With the modern producer in mind, Aleatoric Keys is designed as a workhorse for a “nasty solo” or “mass” layer for synth or EDM pads. Now you can save time to get that unique sound and no longer have to program trance leads or pads. Our powerful engine allows you to get a full sound faster than using a normal workflow, or you can let it generate quick and unique ideas using the “randomize” tool. The Aleatoric Keys mechanism is easy to use but can produce rich and complex results. Aleatoric Keys contains four individually configurable sample sources, each containing a variety of fully modulated parameters. The Source Motion and Filter Motion manipulation buttons animate your score, or animate it and move it along with the image.
Aleatoric Keys is a tool that uses only new sounds that you can’t get anywhere else. Many natural sounds come from synthesized sources and emulate classical instruments, but also many natural sounds are converted to synthesizers.
To make your life easier, many of the individual sounds are already pre-mixed, so you can save time by making them unique to your mix.

The 160 instruments included range from remastered classic EPianos to hard-hitting bass, ambient pads and soundscapes, EDM and reimagined classic synths, Winds and FX. Consequently, Aleatoric Keys were designed for cinematic material, but can be used as an expressive layer in most musical genres. The best of what Aleatoric Keys has to offer is available to listen to straight out of the box; with 112 classified images. They are conveniently divided into Bass, Keys & Strings, Pads, Synthesizers and FX subgroups to fill the sonic spectrum extremely effectively. Each shot is highly customizable, making it easy to transform into the perfect sound.
Four Flexible Sample Sources
Four sound sources allow you to layer Bass, FX, Keys, Leads, Natural, Pad, Winds and Xtra sounds. Together they will create an inspiring beginning or progressive continuation of your music.
Controls on each audio source allow you to tailor the sound to your project’s needs, making them extremely efficient. These include an equalizer, envelope, and filter to mix sounds and make them unique.
Source Motion Control Panel
One of the most defining features of the Aleatoric Keys, the Source Movement control panel provides unparalleled control over the amplification dynamics of four sound sources. By constantly moving the focus of layers of keys or pads, the sound produced comes to life and tells a story to the characters on screen. You can easily change the way sounds blend together using the built-in controls and tailor the result to your specific needs.
Filter Motion Control Panel
By independently modulating the filter cutoff frequency and resonance of each sound source, full control over the timbre of each layer is now possible. This control over tonal dynamics greatly increases the possible sonic results for an interesting and unique sound. Combined with the already impressive freedom of the Source Movement panel, the possibilities are truly endless.
