The pipa is a Chinese 4-stringed plucked musical instrument of the lute type. Ample China Pipa consists of two sample libraries: Master (traditional pipa timbre) and Expert (modern style). The AB and MS stereophony systems were used during recording.
Performer of the Master version: Professor Yin Chen, lead pipa player in the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra.
Expert Version Performer: Lisha Shang, a pipa virtuoso.
Instrument Featured: Feng Wei (a handcrafted remake of a Ming Dynasty pipa by Weidong Cao).
- Install by running the EXE file.
- When you first run the tool, specify the path to the sound library (the Library folder in the distribution).
- If necessary, download and install the Rectangles Standalone player from Ample Sound, which is not included in the R2R installer.
