The pipa is a Chinese 4-stringed plucked musical instrument of the lute type. Ample China Pipa consists of two sample libraries: Master (traditional pipa timbre) and Expert (modern style). The AB and MS stereophony systems were used during recording.
Performer of the Master version: Professor Yin Chen, lead pipa player in the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra.
Expert Version Performer: Lisha Shang, a pipa virtuoso.
