NativeInstruments RAS3 Key Generator Release
- Remove previous versions.
- Install the software.
- Go to the “%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Native Instruments\Service Center\” folder.
If there is no “NativeAccess.xml” file there, copy the included “NativeAccess.xml” file there.
If there is a “NativeAccess.xml” file, check its size.
If your file is smaller than the attached one, copy ours (your file must be older).
Previously, older NI products used RAS2 (ECDSA) for security.
They now use RAS3 (JWT/RS256) as a modern licensing solution.
“NativeAccess.xml” contains information about which product/version uses RAS2 and RAS3.
If this information is out of date, some updated products will not work as intended by NI.
NI users use NativeAccess software for installation/updates,
which means they will always have the latest version of the NativeAccess.xml file on their computer.
